We absolutely love the history and ethos of Carlowrie. Owned by the Hutchison family for 130 years, the grand daughter of the first owner was a fascinating and inspiring character. Defying the conventions and restrictions of the time, Isobel Wylie Hutchison, an intrepid explorer, travelled the world collecting rare species of plants many of which she brought back to plant in the grounds of the castle.
The current owners are equally as inspiring due to their passionate support of both the arts and with the way that they help the most vulnerable in society through the RESTART programme. They are a shining light in ethical, sustainable businesses with a conscience and one whom we are proud to support with our Carlowrie Castle Wedding stationery collection.
